I did a bit of research on what festivals where going on near Bristol to try and pick out something interesting, as I was not interested in making a game or a fresher's guide to UWE.

I ended up finding an event being hosted in Bristol and Nottingham called "Hit the Deck".

So I decided to use Moqup
to quickly map out how to arrange the layout so that it would make sense.

I ended up going with a slightly different navigation layout, but the rest remained the same, more or less.

I decided on keeping a colour theme throughout and using a background image as source of information, rather than a text box.

A lot of the graphic design was already done for me, so it was really just putting it into an App and creating navigation with some information cobbled together from a couple of different pages on the website.

I couldn't figure out why the text formatting would not stay fully scrolled so it looks quite poor before you've scrolled.
I think I could have done more with the ticket link, I couldn't find a feasible way to link directly to the site but I feel I should have put something else on the page.

There's also a bug where you can't see the "Home" button on the ticket page but if you click in the vacinity of where it should be, it works.

Possibly a embedded video of some of the bands playing, something more interactive.

The news feed is also lack-luster, I couldn't properly get a news feed, as they don't really have one, other than twitter (which they don't use in the same way) so I just had to put up whatever the last post was about.

Overall, I think the project went okay, I should have made more use of the in built java script to really customise my app and possibly had an overlay header, so thatit displays the name of the page on each respective page
There is the QR code if you want to test out my app
